Product Strategy

In early 2017 Danielle worked on product strategy at the international cryptocurrency company, Luno, where she launched numerous new features and collaborated across the business with Marketing, Operations, Data Science and Customer Relations.
During this time she was featured in the Digital Currency Group 'Women in Blockchain' series.

Product Development

While working at Africa’s biggest bank, Standard Bank, Danielle was responsible for creating new solutions with fintech companies.
During this time she was the project lead on Shyft, a foreign exchange wallet that won the 2017 MTN App of the Year award.

Trend Analysis

As Open Innovation Manager at Standard Bank, Danielle was responsible for engaging internationally with the fintech community. This required reporting on this landscape as well as choosing the most relevant partners.
She was responsible for the international contestants of the Pathfinders Challenge and also judged the Blockchain category for the 2016 Fintech Africa Awards. This role involved speaking about fintech trends and solutions at numerous events and classes.

Product Design

Danielle was trained in Design Thinking by the Hasso Platner Design Institute and used these skills to setup the Standard Bank Innovation Lab.
She also co-created and completed a Corporate Venturing course with Stanford University, where she spoke at a Masters class.
